The Eastwood Could Make Your Day

Like the Hollywood star who inspired its name, the Eastwood by Broadway Homes has a solid, dependable and enduring style. The four bedroom, two-bathroom, two-storey display offers luxury within an affordable price range, according to sales and marketing manager Peter Gobetti. “The Eastwood is another exciting home from our collection, and represents the quality expected from a multi-award winning builder,” Mr Gobetti said. “The target market is second and third-homebuyers with discerning taste, and the Eastwood is versatile to suite families of all ages.”

From the street, the home has a subtle combination of light-coloured rendered walls and a feature wall of classy stone tiles. Slim black posts support a central portico, continuing to the second floor; and the black window frames and garage door also contrast effectively with the light render. Inside, there is an immediate impression of space and light, in a free-flowing layout that is equally suitable for families with toddlers, teenagers or adult offspring.

Right of the entry, the main suite is a private retreat, with a generously proportioned sleeping area linked to a fitted built-in robe and dressing room. At the rear of the ground floor; extensive glazing brightens the main living zone, where the family room, overlook the garden and alfresco area. Stone benchtops, AEG cooking appliances, banks of drawers and overhead cupboards ensure the kitchen is functional. A long island bench extends beyond a vertical glass panel to the alfresco area, and a scullery at the opposite end of the kitchen provides additional work and storage space out of sight – including a four door pantry with pairs of cupboards below.

Access to the alfresco area is through a sliding door in the dining area and a hinged door in the kitchen. “One of the striking features of the Eastwood is the seamless transition to the outdoors, and the massive alfresco area includes a benchtop that flows directly through from the kitchen,” Mr Gobetti said. Upstairs, a big activity room has ample space for youngsters at play, and would work well as a private lounge or study zone for older children. There are three double minor bedrooms, each with a two-door robe, and one has semi-ensuite access to the other family bathroom. An alternative version of the Eastwood can be built from $354,393.
